Be forewarned the metal seems thin, but I'm confident that now that it is up, it's sturdy. Putting up the big 70" TV, I used quite a lot of mounting screws. I was mounting into 3/4" thick plywood behind a custom mantle/fireplace, so I had to find and use my own lag bolts. I used 8 large anchors.The 'legs' on this mount are great. They tilt out but can be locked flat (they don't particularly tell you this, but there is a set of holes that line up at the top that would allow you to lock-out the tilt function). I have it tilted all the way out 10deg due to the height of my install. The nicest thing about this is the spring-action lock in the leg. The bottom 'jaws' of the mount click in place with little spring loaded hooks. This was great because there was no way I would have had access behind the screen to tighten down screws or anything, which some of the other mounts require. I also love how thin the... I bought this for my 50" Toshiba but the the M8 screws to mount the bracket to the tv were too short so I went out and bought 4 longer ones for 3-4$. That problem being solved I found that the weight of the tv was a bit much for the mount unless the verticles aligned with the lags which they didn't inmy case so it was pulling away a little from the wall when tilted. Oh yeah the tilting isn't great either because it wouldn't stay at the angle I wanted and the only way to keep it straight was to put something through the holes at the top to make it not tilt which was a pain because it's so close to the wall and impossible to reach.
