However, my cabinets are full wood planks at the bottom to support any screw you install. The unit is solidly built. I also recommend using through hole screws to mount to underside of cabinet as just a couple wood screws are eventually going to give out. The unit can be rotated very easily about the central arm. The unit can also be tilted-but only about the slotted axis-which is set only by how you orient and mount the slot to the underside of the cabinet. It would have been more convenient to allow some tilt where the back of the TV is mounted. This is particulary true of LCD TV's - since you have to get the tilt correct to get the best view from the TV. Once you have the orientation like you want you have to adjust the tension using an allen wrench in irder to truely lock in place. This is a bit of trial and error-and if you ever want to fold it up out of the way-since enough tension to lock in place is usually too much to allow it to fold up out of the way... Read more |
